About us

What we do

VR Marine Technologies Ltd. is dedicated to improving safety at sea.

The primary focus is promoting the introduction and successful application of modern technologies which will improve Search and Rescue response. These may reduce the risks to those involved with the sea, such as seafarers, yachtsmen and passengers, and, in particular, the risks rescue personnel are exposed to.

We also work to:

  • Analysis the resource requirements for Search and Rescue; looking at needs and constraints, and identifying and optimising potential solutions.
  • Encourage the development, improvement and understanding of ‘Safety Culture’, particularly by those involved in, and responsible for, ship inspection, certification and safety.

VR Marine Technologies Ltd. is experienced in ship construction, refit and repair supervision, and can provide services in those areas.

VR Marine Technologies Ltd. may work in conjunction with technical and / or operational partners if required.
